Ahoj there!
Feels good to be back at blogging. I would like to keep this as a journal to enter my new learnings from christian books, maybe reviews on them [ok maybe not, (Malayalam ahead) Tim Challies chettanodu compete cheythaal sheriyaakullello! :-P [Translation: It won't be good if I find myself competing with Tim Challies] and importantly the biblical doctrines I've begun to have a deeper understanding of, namely the doctrines of grace or as some would say CALVINISM!
Yeah I am an unashamed five point Calvinist and God willing might share some personal reasons why I have adopted them OR RATHER have been taught by the Holy Spirit. If you're panicking by now, I can understand how you feel because 2 years ago I would have felt the same. It has been quite a journey into all the 5 points although the seeds were planted by my mentor, Prabhakar Chandran [Former YFC Director] during my stint with Trivandrum YFC from 2000 to 2008 after which I left to Chennai to be closely involved with the ministry of UESI.
Facebook which at one point was a source of distraction to me was used by the Lord to enable me to understand the doctrines of grace. The elders of the local church I now attend, Grace Baptist (Lancaster) Clement Sitali and Jeffrey Haskins have been very helpful to me in understanding these truths. Without further ado, let me close this post cos Joyce and I have a long day tomorrow at church [Meeting Calvin Smith, CMI yipppeee!!!] let alone I have actually been grounded from social media :-P.
[Was updated from here on May 26th]
To continue from this, on a more serious note, the purpose I am putting this up is just to thank God for the ways in which He has led me so far and that if its His will that He would use this to encourage my friends in Christ to think about the doctrines of grace more seriously although I would be the last person to say that its my testimony that proves its validity.
Soli Deo Gloria!
